You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.

3.             Collection of personal data for the technical operation of the website

When using the website only for information purposes, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise actively provide us with information, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. This is done in order to display the website to you and to ensure the required stability and security (legal basis is Article 6(1)f GDPR) and relates to the following data:

• IP address;
• Date and time of the server request;
• Referrer-URL;
• Access status/HTTP status code;
• Data volume transferred in each case;
• Website from which the request comes;
• Browser;
• Operating system;
• Language and version of the browser software.

When contacting us by email or via our support forms, the data you provide (your email address as well as your first and last name, possibly other voluntary information) will be stored by us in order to answer your enquiries. We delete the data accruing in this context after the storage is no longer necessary or restrict the processing if there are statutory retention obligations.

4.             Data Processing when Using the Webshop

If you would like to order in our webshop, it is necessary for the conclusion of the contract that you provide your personal data, which we need for the purpose of processing your order. Mandatory information required for the processing of contracts is marked separately, other information is voluntary. For payment, you can provide your payment data to our payment service provider or we pass on your payment data to our house bank, whereby these third parties are independently responsible for the payment processing. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)b GDPR.

As payment providers, we use Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd, 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland and Paypal, PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, Luxembourg. When you create your customer account, the data you provide will be stored revocably. You can always delete all further data, including your user account, in the customer area. Your data will be stored as long as your registration is valid. Legal storage obligations, for example due to commercial or tax law requirements, remain unaffected.

If we use external service providers to process personal data, these service providers have been carefully selected, commissioned in writing and are bound by our instructions. The service providers will not pass this data on to third parties, but will delete it once the contract has been fulfilled and the legal storage periods have expired, unless consent has been given to store it beyond this.

Another data recipient is the print shop we have commissioned, Vogel Druck und Medienservice GmbH, Leibnizstr. 5, 97204 Höchberg.

5.             Newsletter

With your consent you have the possibility to subscribe to our newsletter, in which we inform you about the expansion of our range. For the registration to our newsletter we use the so-called double opt-in procedure. After registration, you will receive an e-mail to the e-mail address you provided, in which we ask you to confirm your subscription to the newsletter. If no confirmation is received, your data provided in this context and for this purpose will be blocked and automatically deleted. We also store the IP address you used for registration as well as the date and time of your registration and confirmation. The purpose of the storage is to prove your registration and to be able to clarify a possible misuse of your personal data.

The only mandatory information for a subscription to the newsletter is your e-mail address. After your confirmation, we store your email address for sending the newsletter. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)a GDPR. You can revoke your consent to subscribe to the newsletter at any time.

If you purchase goods or services from us, we will send you our newsletter for similar goods or services in the future. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us using one of the contact details provided. In doing so, you will not incur any costs other than the transmission costs according to the prime rates.

6.             Cookies & Tools

On our website, we generally use cookies and other technologies that are absolutely necessary – in your and our interest – to navigate the website, to use basic functions and to ensure the security of the website. These cookies do not collect information about you for marketing purposes, nor do they store which web pages you have visited. In addition, if we use technologies that are not absolutely necessary for the use of the website, this will only be done with your consent.

Cookies are small text files that are assigned to the browser you are using and stored on your hard drive by means of a characteristic character string, and through which certain information flows to the body that sets the cookie. 7.             Data Security

Personal data is protected by us by means of suitable technical and organisational measures in order to ensure an appropriate level of protection and to safeguard the personal rights of the data subjects. The measures taken serve, among other things, to prevent unauthorised access to the technical equipment used by us and to protect personal data from unauthorised access by third parties. In particular, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as your contact requests that you send to us as the website operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address line of the browser changing from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties. Nevertheless, we would like to point out that data transmission on the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) may have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is therefore not possible.
